This holiday season, I was reminded of how nice it is to get away from it all. I've been spending time at my family's cabin in the woods and I'm so grateful for the time together, relaxation, & wonderful food. Here are a few of my favorite memories in the past few weeks of holiday events, as well as some highlights of my Christmas!
I love an excuse to wear holiday dresses! This was before my sorority's annual Christmas dinner with some of my sisters. We stopped by our favorite fraternity before it started.
This was at said fraternity a few days later & before the Christmas Stroll, an event our downtown hosts on Main Street every year with great food, drinks, & fun booths! It was -20 degrees (yes, Fahrenheit) that night so we didn't last long before taking shelter inside.
One of my best friends attends a different college than I do, but she's home for break! I'm so thankful she's back in town & that I get to spend time with her for a few more weeks.
The view out our front windows Christmas morning (reflection of the fireplace and candles included).
My black lab with his adorable plaid bow that I want to use for some kind of craft or Christmas decor next year.
Did y'all do anything fun this holiday season or attend any festive events?
I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas with your family & friends! Look for a post in the next couple weeks about some of my favorite gifts that I gave & received.
xx,
